Wotherspoon's corduroy palette meets Pokémon Center retail, Japan-first as usual.

Sean Wotherspoon, the designer behind the Nike Air Max 1/97 and Round Two vintage shops, has collaborated with the Pokémon Center for a trio of plush figures releasing exclusively in Japan on July 23, 2026.

The three plushies carry Wotherspoon's signature corduroy texture and pastel palette. No pricing has been announced. No Western release date has been confirmed.

Wotherspoon's previous collaborations have followed a pattern: Japan-first availability, followed by wider distribution months later. The Nike Air Max 1/97 launched in Japan before reaching U.S. retailers. His Adidas Superstar collaboration followed the same sequence.

The Pokémon Center's Japan-exclusive drops typically reach resale markets within days. Western availability, if it arrives, tends to lag by two to four months.

Earliest verification date: July 23, 2026, when Japan retail stock becomes trackable.
