Patta Puts a Vibram Sole on the Crocs Clog. It's the Brand's Fourth Footwear Collab This Year.

Patta and Crocs drop the Classic EXP Clog on September 18. The clog gets a Vibram sole. Patta gets its fourth footwear collaboration of the year.

The heel strap and clog shape stay stock. The Vibram unit underfoot is the entire argument.

Patta and Crocs release the Classic EXP Clog on September 18. Two colorways: Almost White (SKU 212487-1CN) and Black (SKU 212487-001). MSRP is $85. The sole is Vibram, cushioned, built for grip rather than the clog's usual foam-only build.

A lower angle isolates the Vibram tread, the one part of the shoe Crocs never let partners touch.
Almost White and Black ship together, the only two colorways in a four-collab year for Patta.

Patta has now put its name on four footwear collaborations in 2026 alone, following runs with Nike tied to the World Cup apparel push and a cycling-adjacent shoe drop earlier in the year. The Crocs deal is the outlier in that count: it is the only one of the four built around a brand with no prior sneaker or streetwear pedigree. Nike is a performance house Patta has worked with since 2015. Crocs is a clog company whose past collaborators, Balenciaga among them, treated the shoe as a punchline before treating it as a canvas.

That shift, from punchline to canvas, is now industry-wide. Salehe Bembury's Crocs work turned the brand into a legitimate collaborator years ago, and the Jibbitz charm system gave every partner a second surface to brand. Patta's version skips the charms and goes straight at the sole, the one part of the shoe Crocs has never let a partner touch before. Vibram, for its part, has spent the last decade moving from mountaineering boots into fashion collabs with Moncler and Awake NY. Its appearance here means two heritage technical suppliers, Crocs' foam and Vibram's rubber, are now doing collab work for a streetwear label, not the other way around.

Patta's own retail calendar this month tells a second story. The label closed its seven-year-old Milano store on September 12, after a farewell sale and a MOSAIKO block party in Quarto Oggiaro. Six days later, it opens a new retail line on Crocs. One door closes in Milan while a new product line opens online and at Patta's Amsterdam and Rotterdam flagships. The contraction in physical footprint runs alongside an expansion in collaboration volume, which is the actual read here: Patta is trading square footage for shelf space across other brands' supply chains.

Expect the Almost White colorway to move first at Patta's Amsterdam flagship on the Zeedijk, on the strength of the clean upper alone. The Black pair, with its Vibram sole more visible against the dark colorway, is the one collectors will flip within the first week.
